Guidelines help you stay on track with your goals. They provide best practices and identify potential challenges. TaskSpur offers AI-powered guidelines to support your journey toward goal completion.
Generating Guidelines When Creating a New Goal
- Start creating a new goal by filling in your goal details, including the description.
- Add a due date (remember: without a due date, it will be classified as a Dream).
- Choose your priority level (Low, Medium, or High).
- Under "Pro Features," check the "Generate Guidelines" option.
- Click the "Create" button.
- Wait a few moments while Ari (TaskSpur's AI assistant) generates your guidelines.
- You'll see a notification from Ari that confirms the completion of your request on the goal card
Adding Guidelines to an Existing Goal
If you already created a goal but didn't generate guidelines:
- Find your goal card in the Goals section.
- Click the menu button (three dots) on the goal card.
- Select "Guidelines" from the dropdown menu.
- Wait a few seconds while Ari creates your guidelines.
- Again, you should be able to look at Ari’s message on the card to know if your request has been completed.
Viewing Your Generated Guidelines
- Open the goal details by clicking on the Details button of the goal card.
- Navigate to the "Guidelines" tab (between "Plan" and "History").
- Review the generated content, which typically includes:
- A description of what's involved in achieving your goal
- Best Practices (specific actions to take)
- Challenges (potential obstacles to overcome)
Regenerating Guidelines
If you feel the guidelines don't align with your vision:
- Navigate to the Guidelines tab in your goal details.
- Scroll to the bottom of the guidelines.
- Click the "Regenerate" button.
- Wait while Ari creates new guidelines and open the card again to view the newly-generated Guidelines.
