TaskSpur can automatically adjust the times and dates of your tasks and goals based on your location, ensuring accuracy across different time zones. To enable this functionality, you need to allow the app to access your location data. Here's how you can do that:

  1. 1. Initial Setup When you first open the TaskSpur app on your mobile device or browser, you should receive a notification prompt asking for permission to access your location data. If you allow access at this point, the app will be able to use your location data to adjust times and dates accordingly.

  1. 2. Granting Permission Later If you did not allow location access during the initial setup or if the app is unable to access your location data for some reason, you can grant permission later through your device or browser settings.

  • On a mobile device (iOS or Android), navigate to the device's Settings app, find the Location Services or App Permissions section, locate TaskSpur, and toggle the option to allow location access.
  • On a web browser, when prompted by TaskSpur for location access, click "Allow" or "Grant Permission." You may also need to adjust your browser's privacy or security settings to enable location access for websites.

By allowing TaskSpur to access your location data, the app can automatically detect when you move across time zones and adjust the times and dates on your tasks and goals accordingly. This ensures that your schedules, reminders, and deadlines remain accurate, no matter where you are.

If you prefer not to grant location access, you can manually adjust your time zone settings within the TaskSpur app. Please refer to this guide for step-by-step instructions on how to change your time zone manually.
