In TaskSpur, your task cards are displayed in a specific sorting order to help you prioritize and manage your tasks effectively.

  • Priority Level Task cards are first sorted by their assigned priority level, with high-priority tasks appearing at the top, followed by medium-priority tasks, and then low-priority tasks.

  • Start Date Within each priority level, task cards are further sorted by their start dates, with tasks having the earliest start dates appearing first.

  • Start Time If multiple tasks have the same start date, they are then sorted by their start times, with tasks having earlier start times appearing higher in the order.

  • End Date For tasks with the same start date and start time, they are sorted by their end dates, with tasks having earlier end dates appearing before those with later end dates.

  • End Time If tasks share the same start date, start time, and end date, they are then sorted by their end times, with tasks having earlier end times appearing higher in the order.

  • Name Finally, if there are multiple tasks with the same priority level, start date, start time, end date, and end time, they are sorted alphabetically by their names in ascending order.

This sorting logic ensures that your most important and time-sensitive tasks are prominently displayed at the top, allowing you to focus on your high-priority and urgent tasks first. It also provides a clear overview of your upcoming deadlines and helps you manage your tasks efficiently based on their priority, start times, and due dates.
