In TaskSpur, a Task is an activity that you need to complete in order to accomplish a Goal. For every Goal you create, you have the option to add one or more Tasks to help you stay on track and make consistent progress.

Task Details

Each Task in TaskSpur includes several important details to ensure you have a clear understanding of what needs to be done and when:

  • Name: Choose a meaningful, short name that you can easily understand when you look at the Task.
  • Description: Add more details to help you comprehend the Task or provide guidance on how to complete it.
  • Start Date: Set the date when you want to start working on the Task. Without a date, it's easy to forget or overlook the Task.
  • Start Time: Specify the time of day when you plan to start the Task, ensuring you stay on schedule, especially for time-sensitive activities.
  • End Date: Indicate the date by which you want the Task to be completed.
  • End Time: Estimate the duration of the Task, allowing you to allocate time for other activities accordingly.
  • Recurrence: Set up recurring Tasks for activities that need to be repeated regularly.
  • Priority: Assign a priority level to each Task, helping Ari, your intelligent assistant, understand which Tasks are most important to you and keep you motivated.

Task Types

TaskSpur also includes Task Types, which allow you to categorize your Tasks based on their purpose or category (e.g., Study, Buy, Travel, etc.). This feature is currently under development, and you can expect different configurations for the Task Type user interface in future updates.

By breaking down your Goals into actionable Tasks and providing detailed information for each Task, TaskSpur ensures that you stay organized, focused, and on track to achieve your desired outcomes.
