Giving your goals meaningful and descriptive names can help you stay focused and motivated throughout your goal-setting journey. If you'd like to change the name of a goal you've created, TaskSpur provides an easy way to do so.

To edit or rename the name of a custom goal:

1. Navigate to the Goals section and locate the goal you want to rename.

2. Click on the menu icon (three gray dots) in the upper right corner of the goal card.

3. Select the "Edit" option from the dropdown menu.

4. In the "Goal Name" field, enter the new desired name for your goal.

5. Click "Save" to confirm and save the changes.

When renaming your goals, keep in mind the following:

  • Meaningful Names: Choose a name that clearly represents the objective of your goal, making it easier for you to remember and stay motivated.
  • Character Limit: The name of your goal must not exceed 255 characters.

Please note that this renaming feature is only applicable to custom goals you've created and added to TaskSpur. The four default goal categories (Funds, Personal Life, Self-care & Wellness, and Work & Career) cannot be renamed or modified.

By giving your goals descriptive and meaningful names, you'll enhance your overall goal management experience and stay better aligned with your objectives.
