In TaskSpur, a Goal is a major objective or project that you aspire to achieve in your life. It represents a significant milestone or accomplishment you want to pursue. A goal is typically a broad objective that often requires taking smaller steps or reaching milestones before it is fully achieved.

TaskSpur recognizes the importance of maintaining a well-balanced life and has designed a comprehensive goal management system to help you stay organized and focused.

System Goals

TaskSpur comes with four predefined System Goals that cover essential areas of your life. These System Goals cannot be edited or deleted, as they are designed to ensure you never neglect crucial aspects of your overall well-being.

The four System Goals are:

  • Personal Life: For goals related to your hobbies, family, social activities, and personal development.
  • Self-Care & Wellness: For goals related to your physical and mental health, including exercise, nutrition, and self-care activities.
  • Finances: For goals related to your financial management, such as savings, investments, and expenses.
  • Work & Career: For goals related to your professional life, career development, and work accomplishments.

Custom Goals

In addition to the predefined System Goals, you can create your own Custom Goals. These Custom Goals must be categorized under one of the four main System Goal categories mentioned above.

For example, if you want to set a goal for learning a new language, you would create a Custom Goal under the "Personal Life" category. Similarly, if you want to save for a down payment on a house, you would create a Custom Goal under the "Finances" category.

Tasks

To help you achieve your goals, TaskSpur allows you to create Tasks under each System and Custom Goal. Tasks are smaller, actionable steps that contribute to the overall completion of your goals.

By breaking down your goals into manageable tasks, TaskSpur helps you stay focused and organized, ensuring that you make consistent progress toward your desired outcomes.
